Hello to all,
I am very sorry to have to post this sad news.
I just got off the phone with Randall Power about an order that I placed and he gave me some very sad news about his Dad Ron.
Yes Ron Power!! The Grand Master Gunsmith of all time !!!!
I asked how his Dad is doing and he gave me very sad news
about his Dad having stage 4 Renal cancer in only one kidney and is undergoing treatment.
It is possible they may have to remove it if the treatment doesn't go as planned.
So far, that is the only diagnosis as far as where the problem exists.
I am now asking ALL members to PLEASE Pray for Ron.
God is Good and Ron will be fine with the help of our Prayers
Please comment, reply, Pray and share all your wonderful experiences you may have had with Ron himself and also with Power Custom, as Randall, Ron and his family will be following this post.
Let us all Pray for Ron to have a speedy recovery.
I can tell you that once about 6 months ago I called to ask about the Extractor Rod & Yoke Alignment Tool that they have and the Wonderful Lady on the phone said "Hold on would you like to speak to Ron?"
I was flabbergasted !!! And of course said "Yes"
He got on the phone and was more than happy to explain everything about the tool as well as other tools that I ordered at the time !!!
Of course I had a million more questions about the functions of a revolver, firing pin protrusion, end shake, trigger pull weight etc.
and he was more than happy to share a wealth of information!
I kept asking him multiple times during our conversation, (which was well over an hour and a half), if I was taking too much of his time, he always replied "No, not at all, I can tell that you like to learn and your questions are interesting and I am happy to speak with you!"
So, I am asking for you all to Pray diligently for Ron Power, the
Grand Master himself, who has always helped us all and now needs our Prayers!!!
Please, Please, Pray and reply with your comments and Prayers!
