There was a big ruckus in NY a while back when the Dept of Environmental Conservation took a guys pet Alligator. He had a permit for it. He kept it renewed and up to date. Then the DEC just stopped responding to his renewal request. One day they show up and take the gator………. This was not a guy with a gator in the bathtub. He had a gator "environment " set up. It was pretty impressive. And VERY expensive no doubt. That gator had a better life with him than in any zoo he might end up in.
