I saw a close up photo of it; it is a Palmetto State AR-15 (an M4 clone). I think it was semi-auto only, but you never know these days. It did not appear to have a binary trigger.

It was a AR15 pistol, appears to be a 10.5" barrel and a SB pistol brace.

There are several reports that the killer in NYC yesterday used a M-4 for the killing. It was identified as such by the police Commissioner. Am I mistaken in thinking that is a select-fire rifle that is not available to We The People?

Colt does make a semi-auto LE carbine labeled M4.

Because for some reason hardcore 2A types do not want to disarm the Mentally Ill.

I'm pretty hardcore and if you are nuts you should not have access to firearms, knives, ball bats, etc you should be treated/helped. Our government give away priorities need fixun!

CNN just reported the suspect had mental health holds in 2022 and 2024.

Wonder how he kept his concealed carry permit?

Also reported, as stated above, he shot himself in the chest.

This is a case where we'd do well to see what the law says, vs what we think it says or want it to say.
You will find the word "adjudicated" in the wording of this part of the law.
A judge has to call them nuts.
