I have been wondering if anyone has split a Safariland 333 Speed Loader holder into a Double and a Single?
Looking one over it looks to me like one might need to start by cutting the stitching apart on the belt loop part so that you can flatten it out.
It looks like the Plastic Holders are attached to the leather by 4 screws each. If this is how they are attached one should then be able to remove the plastic holders from the leather.
At this point one could cut the leather apart into a Single and a Double, reinstall the holders, and sew it back together by hand using saddle stitches.
Has anyone done this modification?
How did you do it?
