Safe Act question

The background check for ammo purchases has been delayed indeffinetly.
The NYSP has not set up any system as of yet, no hot-line for the call in to be made to, no forms, ect.
It's still part of the SAFE act and will get to that point most likely but right now there's no paperwork, log book for purchases or background check call in done by 'ammunition sellers'.
FWIW....The law required 'ammunition sellers in NYS' to register with the State by 1/1/14 however. That didn't change.
Existing FFL's were registered into the system by the NYSP by their FFL license # wether they asked to be or not. Then sent a letter telling of their registration in the system and compliance with the law,

You're right,,you hate to even bring the subject up. But that's where it stands right now.
