Samco 9x19 ammo??

Haha yeah it actually does! I just picked up 3 packs of 50rnds for $12.00 a piece and will give a detailed report.

It is stamped with a 1983 production date! In brown paper wrappers,

Not sure when I will hit the range next.

I've shot a bunch of it through a submachine gun. Have seen it shot by many 9mm pistols including my Sigma and PF-9. It is a jem of a range ammo if not survival ammo with folks that shoot custom long barrel pistols or carbine rifles. Kel-Tec Sub2000's cambered in 9mm love the stuff. It can be dirty in pistols with 4" or under barrels.

This ammo is comparable IMHO to current retail NATO/Win 124gr FMJ ammo. And sells for about the same price. Just a tad bit more dirty. It should be a minor +P load. If you reload the brass could be a good keeper.

IMO,,,, I've ripped out about 5K rounds total of it through Submachine Guns and other's.....

Okay BlastFact - I talked my lady into going to the range tonight so I get to test out the Samco's. I sure hope it works out well!!

So I got back from the range and this ammo totally sucks! Hahahaha in my first two mags I had 5 duds! Failure to fire. Pin hit round and nothing happened! It was a shame too cause when they were going bang they were a nice round! My sigma likes 124gr for sure.

Oh well....looks like the RWS 124gr from wally world is my round of choice.

I'm sorry to hear this. I called my buddy who has a ton of this stock piled and shared your exp. with the ammo with him.

I haven't had any problems with stuff out of his stock pile purchased in the last year.

Mine was dated 1983 FWIW. Frankly..I was surpised at how clean it was. Even with my experince I cant say I wont buy another box or two just because it was fun to shoot.
