This ammo craze is unprecedented. Certain items have been in short supply in the past, but this is entirely new ground. Even reloaders aren't immune due to the availability of components.

For those that didn't planned ahead, I'm afraid that now is a lousy time to be stocking your ammo locker. This will have a negative effect on our shooting hobby, but there is a silver lining. Rimfires like the M&P 15/22 and M&P22 are great to have in times like these. Even though 22LR ammo is getting scarce, I expect that it will rebound.

If NYS passes any really stupid gun law like registration or confiscation, I will sell it with a back dated receipt.

I was fishing and they all fell out and sank in the river, I forget where it was. Guess I can't register them, sorry.

I predict a lot of these unfortunate incidents will be happening soon.
