I just love single-shots!
I found this at my LGS about ten years ago. I always wanted one, and the tag said $115! Needless to say, it came home with me. This is the first write-up I've done on it.
I added the Marble's buckhorn rear sight, and I think it made a real improvement. It'll shoot groups this size all day. It really reminded me that I need to take it out and shoot it more often, plus try it with a wider variety of ammo than I have so far.
Coincidentally, the other group is from a single-shot as well. It's a load I hadn't tried in my Contender, and I was really pleased.
It's a 7" paper plate, BTW.
Edit: I just measured the groups. 1.170" for the .22, and 1.70 for the .44. At 50 yards, with 62-year-old eyes!
