I ran across a model 10 357 caliber today. I thought it was sort of rare and remembered that I saw some were made for the NYPD. This model 10 was stripped sometime in the past and looked like it was polished/sandblasted to a steel finish. Too bad it was a wreck because I was thinking that a Model 10 heavy barrel in 357 would be neat to put with mt Mod 10 HB in plain old 38 cal. Anyway I passed the 200 dollar price and wished it was in better condition as I walked away with a tear in my eye. Have any of you folks got one of those rare birds?

What was the barrel length?
And ow go back and get it for 200 OTD ! ! ! !

4 inch heavy barrel, the gun is in terrible shape, no big time pits, but rust here and there along with zero finish, rounded edges, and worn metal everywhere. If you all think it's a special revolver I can get it but the shape is just bad.

I say get it and send it in to be rebuilt, who knows when you will find another one at any price, and more likely than not you will make out under 650$ anyway with a GREAT gun

I could be wrong but I THINK I read about 35 years ago some or the first ones were built for the FBI.

Like I said, If it functions like it should and can be gotten for 200 OTD no matter what the cosmetic shape is, I would get it,
Great for canoe trips, Range toy for others to use, And you will never have to worry about cosmetic damage!
It basically is a Pre model 13,,,,
In my area, SE.PA. I could trade something like that off and feel good!
