Saw a SMITH & WESSON 629-2 MOUNTAIN REVOLVER price check

So.. is $1500 to much for one? No box or papers, just the gun. Rubber grips but the gun is in fine condition.

$1500 is probably in the ballpark for the patriarch of the Mountain Gun, sans box and goodies; one in nice shape is getting harder to find, they only made 5000 of them. The 629-2 Mountain Revolver came with Pachmayr Grippers, so those may be the originals.
I have one remaining complete 629-2 and wouldn't sell the package for less than $2K+, if that.

I bought one when they were new and stupidly sold it. Found this one a few years ago at a gun show for $650. Still smiling. :)

Me too! Another stupid move by me. Bought I when hey first hi he shelves.
