I'm talking to a guy about getting these square butt combats. He says they fit an N frame, but based on the spacing on either side of the washers, I think they are for a K/L frame. What say you?

They look like K frame stocks to me too, but you might as well measure them to be sure.

Thanks, but I don't have them in hand. If I can get them I'll be able to use them either way, but I kinda hope they're K frame stocks.

They look like K's. If you can't tell just just by looking, compare the pounded rivet on the stock circle to the back shoulder or ledge
that s&wchad measured. It will normally look to be about the same size.

Like has already been said, yep SB Combat K’s.

These came on a 617 I got from Lew Horton in 1991. The 617 is long gone, we just didn’t like it. I did keep the best part of it though.

Thanks for the input. The seller came back to me saying his brother thinks they are Ks and he wanted to verify before he ships them. I told him I thought they were too and how he could check based on the feed back here. :)

Through that process he determined they are Ks.
