For those that have thought about making as short barreled rifle or pistol, Midway has an AR-15 Pistol Barrel, 11 1/2 inch length for $99.99 (Midway #683-239). Described as 5.56x45mm NATO Heavy Contour Chrome Lined, 1/9 twist with threads for flash hider, Chrome Moly Matt with front sight tower.
Also they are selling a refurbished Daisy 880 bb/pellet rifle for $19.99. It has a 4X scope. I bought the same refurbished gun, six months ago, at the same low price. It looked brand new and still works perfectly. I was amazed what $20 buys.
