I’ve don’t know what’s going on anymore. I’ve been disappointed with my last three purchases. All were made through this forum.
One had finish issues that were not fully disclosed. In fairness I did not ask the seller enough properly worded questions, but it shoots great.
Second the seller did a great job of showing the finish issues, but he neglected to mention the cylinder would lock up after firing five (5) rounds. It was easy to fix that one.
Third Seller offer a "seldom fired revolver in excellent condition." Appearance wise, it was in great shape. Timing and lockup were just fine. Dry-firing was fine with a stiff, double action, trigger pull. I finally got it to range, when opening the cylinder to load with Live Ammo something did not feel right. Removed ammo then closed the cylinder which promptly locked up tighter than a miser’s wallet Short of using a BIG hammer I was unable to open the cylinder. It’s now on the was to the Smith and Wesson repair department. I contacted the seller via P.M. yesterday, and have not received a reply yet.
