The mood seems a bit dark here lately as we all ponder what is to come. I thoughtI could brighten things up a bit by showing some pics, all taken in my backyard, through the various seasons. I am nowhere near the picture taking masters that normally post here, but here we go...
Some favorite spring birds:
Rose Breasted Grosbeaks
Baltimore Oriole
This Indigo Bunting knows how to keep cool:
King of the roost, apparently...
Oh-Oh, lock up the chickens!
Also some beautiful moths and butterflies:
Cecropia Moth
Luna Moth
A couple of a Sphinx Moth
And a Swallowtail on the Azaleas:
Fall settles in:
These guys are hard on the landscaping...
This guy needs another year or so of "aging"...
Fall brings a couple surprises....
New to us, a Pine Grosbeak
And a bit of a surpirise at this latitude, this showy fellow
Our "outside" Christmas tree
And our Goose is cooked...Yum!
Hope you enjoyed the distraction!
