How do you legally transport a firearm, concealed or otherwise, and not end up in violation of the law? Some of of the rural highways I travel leave no alternative to get from point a to b without passing a school.

How do you legally transport a firearm, concealed or otherwise, and not end up in violation of the law? Some of of the rural highways I travel leave no alternative to get from point a to b without passing a school.

So?

If you are on a highway, you are obviously NOT on school grounds. Ergo, no violation. The law also does not preclude carrying on sidewalks past the school, so long as one is duly licensed (where applicable) or not a "prohibited person" under the law.
