Scope mounting issue

I recently mounted a Burris 3-9x32 on a 629 with leupold mounts. Using a laser bore sighter, my windage adjustment is cranked all the way to the right as far as it will go ! It still needs to go a little further. How can change this....maybe change mounts ?

Leapers is usually equal to steamy cow excrement. Same with a cheap bore sighter

Does your mount allow a coarse windage adjustment using the rear ring, or are your mounts dual dovetail???

That's the solution, duel dovetails are less recoil sensitive but a windage adjustable rear base has a lot of left to right adjustment. Not sure if they offer that base both ways.

I'm not familiar with your exact mount, but when a scope does not have enough windage or elevation adjustment (has always been the latter, in my case), I use Burris Signature rings, which have various inserts that allow for additional offset. Another advantage is that there's no need to lap the scope rings.

Another option is to use shims, although I've never taken that approach and I'm not sure if it will work with your specific mount.
