I was trying to explain this to my friend, and assist him with a set up for his designated hunting & hog rifle - a S&W M&P15.
He was about to order an Aimpoint red dot for 200+yd.
Boy was it nice. It looked like a fluted stainless barrel with the Breecher brake on it. The receiver was silver, it might have been stainless? It had a quad rail and moe stock. I don't know what brand it was but they were proud of it. It was the only one they had. They had a couple of 1522' at $600 +. Here is what they did not have: no 22 ammo. no 223 ammo, no small rifle primers. no Varget, no 22 bullets of any brand and of course, no 223 brass. Surprise, Surprise. I did pick up a Lymans reloading book for $19.99. I think I will wait until fall to go back.

Like I said,it'll sit there awhile,like forever at that price. I even stopped back in today and rechecked. YIKES ! $2100 on the box !!! It did make me feel a whole lot better about getting a never been used,sitting in the safe EOtech 516A65 w/3X Flip though. A good shooting budy and old friend. Never been used and forgot about.

Sniper I believe is the brand. $30 shipped. Like I said, not expecting a whole lot. Made in China, no doubt. It's only about 8" long, so it will fit on the rail ok. It may prove to hold zero for more than two shots, then again it may not. Who knows, I might be pleasantly surprised. Not really expecting it though.

Started 5 years ago, which the doc said was pretty good. Now trifocals, hopefully that will be awhile!
