Scope Rings

I bought a cheap BSA scope 4x32 yesterday from a guy. It has no rings on it. What would be the appropriate setup to mount it on the 15-22. Those who have scopes,what do you use?

I prefer not to use tall rings so I have used a 3/4'' riser and low rings. Riser is about $10 and cheap low rings are about the same. This will put your scope close to the same height as where you would be using your iron sights. Not sure how much room you have on that scope but one piece mounts designed for an AR platform are a good option. I have a Burris PEPR that isn't too expensive. Primary Arms sells an inexpensive one for about $30.

I too have a Burris PEPR. Great setup. I would recommend it.

Warne Ultra High rings with levers. I have them on all my AR's that use rings. IMHO putting a riser and then low rings is counter productive as you end up with the scope at the same height but you now have two joints to loosen as opposed to just one joint with high rings or a cantelever mount.
