I hear you!

Mine's a Leupold 4.5-14x. I like the taller rings.

This rifle is made by Rock River, and will shoot 1" groups at 100 yards consistently. Caliber is 300 ACC Blackout.

Can you get your eye behind that scope w it mounted that low w the rifle comfortly shouldered? All of my scopes on an AR type rifle are in a 1 piece base that is also a riser. The bottom part of the ring is part of the base. While those type bases are heavy they also stay zeroed when scope is taken off rifle then reinstalled.

Only exception is my AR10. The scope on that rifle came w extra high rings included with the scope. Since it was a 30mm tube and I didn't have a 30mm riser base I used those rings.

I think you will find your rifle more comfortable to shoot with the scope mounted in a taller ring setup.

MINE NEEDED THE RISER.

Anything much over 1.5 power made close target acquisition too slow. For MY 22lr I'm thinking the Leupold VXlll 1.5x5 would be pretty darn good, both size/wt & mag power levels. I love the one on my Rem model 7 7mm08 & have no problems ringing a gong @ 300 yards with it. I was too slow to grab the one recently for sale here. That one went quick. Whoever got it, ENJOY. :)

I also think you will need to raise your scope with at least 1/2 inch riser, having sitting on the barrel you might not be able to see clearly with scope.
Here is my set-up, with Nikon 3X9x04, with 1/2 riser.

I like more SM-G925P with scope.Looks great!

I have a question about these two rifles.
Is it the same scope? How is it called? probably I missed the names in the subject!
Thanks

On any of my AR's either in 556 or 308 I use 1.5" cantilever mounts. Works for any objective lens up to 56mm. Like my Night force 8-32X56 scopes.

If you can move the scope up and forward, it's much more ergonomic to shoot.

LARUE SPR-E is about the best.

ADM recon-x is almost as good.
