I don't have an optic on my 15-22 yet. The only brand I've had to deal with CS with has been Nikon and they were outstanding. I have two of the M308 scopes that are very clear and outside of the initial inability to zero the one, no problems. Nikon gave me an RA and a shipping label to send in just the scope and nothing else. They verified it was bad and sent me a complete new scope, caps, and rail mount in a box off the shelf.
I've heard good things on Vortex but don't own one. I've heard good things about Bushnell's CS but as far as the scope, it depends on which one as far as if it is any good or not. They make low end Tasco type stuff all the way to top shelf. So without knowing the model, no idea.
From memory, most .22LR dedicated scopes are parallaxed at 75 yards, which seems to be good.
As far as recommendations, it depends on what you are looking for and using it for. Are you set on 2-7X? If not, Primary Arms makes a 1-6X scope for .22LR that might be of interest. A number of their scopes are made by the same factories as the big names. Vortex being one of the names. Leupold makes a very nice fixed 4X for .22LR as well. PA sells a fixed 6X that has good reviews but I think that magnification is a bit high for a fixed magnification on an optic.
