This kid obviously did not know what he had. According to the clerk, he inherited it from his grandfather and was just looking for some quick cash. He was only asking $389 and I would have snatched it up for that price, but the clerk said, "make an offer and I will call him." So I said $350 and if he balks at that I would take it for the asking price. Still can't believe it.
The guns you never sell are the first one you ever owned and any that belonged to someone that you thought highly of. If this kid was not a gun guy, he should have asked the other family members first to see if it could be kept in the family.
