I wonder what is in this bucket!

Left the range with it tonight. The price? Um, free! :)

Maybe I will have to do some kind of giveaway (don't like the word karma ;) ) or something.

I know there will be a bunch of 9mm and 40S&W in here. I have a friend in Florida that is in need of some 45Colt, as well as myself. I hope there is some 45ACP in there too!

I'll have to let you know!

p.s. I passed up taking the 5 gallon bucket that was completely full of 223 brass! I mean, how many 223 brass could you fit in a 5 gallon bucket? WOW!

That bucket 'O .223 makes me think of the gentile hum created by my Giraud Trimmer! Never mind, the hand cramps of the Dillon swager take the soothing hum out of my mind.

Nice score!

Nice!!!

I offered to buy the 9mm from my range...I said I'd sort it and give them a premium for what the recycler would pay...still said no. Maybe I need a new range

I live in Florida and have lots of once fired .45Colt and .45 Schofield .
Drop me a name and maybe we can work something out .

You find any 45-70 in there, I'll make it worth your while. :)

Tilting at windmills, but what the heck?

Good score!

I have less than 10 right now from previous scores! When it makes sense, I'll send them along.

Of course, you realize that that would keep me from having an excuse to get another gun! "Honey, I have to have one of those. I have brass already!"

:D

Got some good news tonight. I am going to be a grandma again! Isn't that what you are when your daughter has a little girl? :)

Seriously, its true, another granddaughter on the way. In celebration of that good news, the girls that are still in the area, my 18 year old, the wifey and oldest daughter HAD to go shopping! Well, in their absence, I went to the garage to start working on this bucket of brass.

Spent about an hour at it, halfway through the bucket, using the Dillon separator sieves, and have about a 3lb coffee can full of 45ACP brass. Some steel ones, yes, they will get used. It will not hurt your M625 in 45ACP at all.

Saw quite a bit of 38spl and 357Mag, a ton of 9mm and 40S&W and 410 shot shells galore! Must be that new Judge thing that is out.

5.7x28mm was in there too. About 20 or 30 or so. No 45Colt or other revolver stuff yet. That is a bummer.

I thought I had the next gun all picked out. Started finding a ton of 308 brass. Then I got the flashlight out and saw that it is Berdan primed! I was so close to that Howa, Tony! ;)

At any rate, got half the bucket done and I think I will call it quits for today.

No 7.62X39 that is loadable either, sorry. Oh, 223 by the hundreds too. A lot of steel there too. No, not reloading that! ;)

lol...you mentioned the new grand daughter first so I guess your are more excited about her than the bucket of brass, but I'm not quite sure...congratulations, grampa!!!

Luscious and I were at the range last night running comparison tests between her M&P 9C and my 3954. She also had her 1911 and I a .38. While I'm the type to let brass pile up around my feet then clean it all up at once, she likes to clean up after each magazine and toss it into a side pocket of my bag. Anyway, there are a few other couples there and the distaff sides are noticing what my wife is doing. After a short conversation amongst the wimminfolk, they're all cleaning up after each other and throwing it into my range bag!
Christmas in March!

My SIL that has my G22, well, it's his Glock now, gets embarrassed every time he goes to the range because of his wife (my daughter). It seems that she will even ask other shooters if they are going to take their brass with them! He also has a SDB press and loads his own ammo for that gun.

Needless to say, she is a chip off the Ole' Skip! :D

Sure could use some of that .357 up this way sir...nice find!

Have fun and be safe.

Don't throw away any Berdan primed Swiss 7.5 that you find ! I have a friend that loads it !!

My latest quest is for 38 S&W. I hate buying new brass :(
