I have had this holster for a while but had not posted it here yet.
I really like SD Myres holsters. The quality and carving is superb on most that I have ever seen. This beautiful holster is a SD Myres Plain Clothes Quick Draw Style Holster Model #614. This model is a fully hand-carved, trigger set high for easy and quick draw and lock stitched. The loop fits a belt up to 1 1/2 inches.
The model #614 design was used extensively by the FBI in the past. This holster fits a Smith & Wesson K frame revolver up to a 5 inch barrel. It is in like new shape. Not sure what time frame it is from, but I think it has been determined by the knowledgeable people here, that since it has "Tex" in the maker's mark it is an earlier one.
So, what do you fine folks think of this specimen?
