SD40VE Holsters Left Handed?

Hey gents,

Was given a SD40VE last night as a wedding gift by some good friends. I'm having issues finding a left handed holster. Any ideas? Also I'm new to the world of handguns as this is my first and I just got my carry permit. What is the difference between the sigma and non sigma.
Again I'm new to this so if it's a dumb question go easy!

Should be plenty of options they are about the same size as Glock 23/19.

Sigma was an version prior SD/SDVE several different threads on the differences. The SD is a completely different gun. Differences include

-lighter barrel
-lighter/different slide
-sights
-frame grip angle, width, rail
-sear
-totally different operating system as far as firing

IMO this is the best hybrid holster for the money, and yes it comes for wrong....I mean left handed people LOL

I would suggest the oil tanned (because that's what I have and I like it).

If you want something you can use OWB also this is a good deal

BTW The only dumb question is the one you don't ask. It's (almost) always better to ask and not do something wrong.

I believe desantis makes the speed scabbard in both Left and right for the SD.

My Sigma 40 (almost the same pistol as your SD), fits almost any holster for my G19 and my XD Service (4" bbl) pistol.

I believe desantis makes the speed scabbard in both Left and right for the SD.

I use the De Santis speed scabbard I got for my 9mm Sigma for my 40SD -- the fit is perfect -- they make them for both left and right hand shooters

I have to recommend Old Faithful Holsters. I to am a lefty and they are the bomb. I have a high ride OWB and an IWB from them. About a 3 week turnaround but you wont b sorry
