Sd40ve NO issues

I finally took it to the range today ran 50 rounds of the Tulammo brassmaxx 170gr and 50 rounds of the only thing they had at the range 180gr, I don't remember the name of it. Not one issue. I'm new to this so the lack of aim was due to me I believe. Great gun in my opinion but what do I know. Recoil was more then I expected but again I never fired a gun before. As soon as I can find some jhp I will run them through it. Thanks for all the tips and knowledge from the users here.

shot 2 rounds of federal s&w and barrel failure... chamber protruding out covering half of the feed ramp... still waiting on warranty reply. Anyone else experience this. Brand new.

were those the only 2 rounds you fired through it? did you cycle those rounds through the gun "practicing" handling at home before you took it shooting? can you post some pics of the issue?

glad you had a good experience with it! love mine! put another 110 rounds through my SD40 VE this weekend! brings me to about 400 rounds total...all problem free

These are the first 2 rounds fired through the gun other than the factory test round. I'll try and post photos... Shot the same ammo through my glock 23 with no problems. The SD40VE is one of my 15 handguns.

well I suppose that rules out a "super" setback issue...that's crazy for sure! definitely interested in seeing pics of the issue

Today was my first with my sd40ve shot about 50 problem free rounds, combination of wwb 180, ae 165, and corbon 135. I need more practice than the gun does.

First trip the range today with my SD40VE as well. Put 100 rds through it with four different brands of ammo. Mostly FMJ and a few JHP's. Made my day to know the SD40VE will eat anything I put in it. Will be going outdoors tomorrow to feed it some more.
