Im sure this has been asked but I did a search and all I can find is people asking about Sigma to SD9 VE intercheability and trigger complaints/how much I like the trigger posts. A buddy of mine has an SD9 VE for sale cheap and I need a 9...cheap, so it looks like a perfect match except his is the 10 round model and i want the 16 round model. Are the magazines intercheable? Can the 10 round gun swallow the 16 round magazine? He tried to sell me on the BS that 16 round mag springs lose their tension (known not to be true), then he says the 16 round clips are "waaaaaaaay" more expensive, well I just checked, they're the same price, lol. So the last and final question is, do they fit? Thanks!

Good deal. Looks like he knew very little about the gun he picked up, I dont want to be like that. Ive been reading up and so long as I like the trigger pull and my fingers "are'nt too long" for the gun it looks like I may finally have a pistol in my stable. Seems like a good starter gun. Thanks.

When I bought my Sigma 9mm I got the ten round model (two 10 rnd mags). Later I picked up the 16 round mag at my local range and it fit. I knew it was going to fit as the 10 rnd mags are due to some state laws.

I remember that, jlb. Also remember a few of us slagging that guy, too. Ain't it great when people are civil???

instead of making a new thread im sure you guys could help me out. my SW40VE came with a 10rd magazine and i wanted to know if the 14rd mag would still fit in my weapon. Common sense says yes, but ive only owned the firearm for 2 days so i could be wrong.

yes it will the only difference in the mags is, the 10 rounder has two stops built into the mag that stops the follower from moving down more. the 14 rounder does not have the stops and i have 2 of each and they work flawlessly
