So I bought my Sd9VE about 3 weeks ago and it fires flawlessly, I've ran around 400 rounds through it and its never locked up or had anything wrong with it. The only thing I don't like about it are the lack of accessories, has anyone found any after market clips, 30+ rounds? or threaded barrels that might fit the Sd9VE?
I found a M+P threaded here S&W M&P9 Threaded Barrel and many S and W clips here Smith & Wesson Gun Magazines but not sure if these would fit the SD9 or are universal, are there any aftermarket products available at all? This gun had been out for a couple years, maybe its just a lack of aftermarket support.

If you want to increase the magazine capacity, get you a SW9F mag that holds 17 rounds and add the +3 mag extension from Apex Tactical. Apex also offers a spring kit to reduce the trigger pull weight and the AET trigger to reduce pre- and eliminate over travel. You might have to fit the trigger to the frame. I was lucky and it dropped right in and functioned flawless.
If you want night sights, you can put any sights for the M&P fullsize on the SD9VE. Other than that you can mount whatever you need on the picatinny rail, light, laser even a bayonet if you have the need for it.

16+! is plenty for me. the SD was primarily developed for self defense. its designed as a larger frame carry gun or night stand gun. you can throw night sights from an M&P on it, most M&P 9/40 holsters work fine with it. standard picatinny accessories fit fine. duracoat for a face lift or to make it "your one of a kind" i dont see the need to a 30 round mag. mine is my EDC in .40 and has 14+1 and 2 spare mags. 43 rounds. takes a second or 2 to pop a new mag in and release slide. leaves it concealable. try concealing with a 30 round mag. get a speed loader and you'll be fine. apex has a awesome trigger and spring kit, galloway makes a steel guide rod and larger takedown lever
