sd9ve report

My brother has one that I've shot and like. If I didn't already have an M&P9C and was looking for a FS 9mm I'd consider one a great option. Happy shooting!

went & shot my new sd9ve today. trigger is much improved over the old sigma. almost too light ? shot low with 115 & 124 gr. gold dots at 45'. I am going to try some 147's later. grouping was about 3", not bad for an old one eyed fat man. I am very happy with my new truck pistol.
You're making me jealous 11e40. My sd9ve was due in Saturday but so far no luck. I will call my transfer dealer in the morning to see if it has arrived. He lives in town so with a little luck I may have my new pistola in hand tomorrow. I'm hoping it has an honest .355 bore as I shoot mostly cast bullets..... Good luck with your continued testing.

Took the SD9VE to the range using cheapo Bosnian 115 gn Tulammo Brass Max ($23.97 for a 100 count tub from WM).

At ~ 15 yds an occasional flyer high and right. Maybe one out of 9 or 10? After ~ 200 rounds had 1 FTF. It was the third or fourth round of my third full 16 round magazine. I had to field strip & push the extractor arm aside with a small screw driver to dislodge the round. Basically, a 2 minute fix.

Not sure whether to attribute this to bulk, junk ammo...the gun..or a fluke.

Either way, not concerned. Loving this gun.

LDL, just curious...did you field strip the gun, clean and lube it before shooting?

(GO BLUE!!)

The trigger is not that improved so I sold mine and kept my Sigma.I shot well with the Sigma so I kept it.I was going to sell it but like my Sigma better.

Congrats on your new SD9VE, lots of fans here including yours truly...ENJOY!
