SDB Caliber Conversion Kit Question

When checking on the order status for my 45ACP caliber conversion kit for my Square Deal B today I realized I had a lapse in brain function when I placed my order and I forgot to order the toolhead. I am currently only reloading 9mm and soon to be 45ACP. I might add .40 caliber into the mix pending "senate approval" in the future but not anytime soon. My question is whether or not it is worth it to buy the Quick Change Kit which includes the toolhead or just get the toolhead. I won't be reloading 45ACP nearly as often as I do 9mm as 4 of our 5 (soon to be 5 out of 6) handguns are 9mm and we try to shoot them as often as we can. Thanks.

It's about 60 bucks to have the extra powder measure. If you have set loads that you never change, you can save a few minutes every time you convert the press. Only you can decide if that's worth it.

I would get the extra tool head. Check eBay, since you can often find them on sale there. I have tool heads for each of my calibers. It's so much easier to swap tool heads than it is to readjust dies. If your budget allows, I would also buy another primer assembly for large primers for your .45 kit.

The extra primer assembly is definitely worth having. I hate converting those.

FWIW, I wouldn't get an extra powder measure unless I had loads that used both the large and small powder bars. They're a pain to swap out as well.

I am looking at the Dillon website and just wanted to confirm that this is what I would need to order. That includes everything and I don't need to order anything else correct?

That's it. Just make sure you check the right radio button.

Don't forget to order a large primer pickup tube, too, or at least call Dillon to see if it comes with the primer assembly. Not sure if it does.
