SE Michigan Air Quality Alert...

I just received this alert on my weather app...

The Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy has declared an Air Quality Alert for Friday July 4th for elevated levels of fine particulate (PM2.5) due to residual wildfire smoke and firework displays.

Firework displays?
Really??
I guess that's why our dog Scout HATES fireworks!

Between the sound of the a/c running, my ceiling fans going and being curled up in my goose down comforter, Milo doesn't seem to mind them at all.

I'm no scientist, but it seems to me that any threat of fireworks smoke particulates would be almost a non-issue.
