Sea Eagle Foldcat

While I do not own one I have fooled around with an inflatable fishing boat with aluminum frame. My only concern with these things is heavy brush, downed trees, etc. that one encounters while on a river float. If I was twenty years younger it might be that much of a concern, however at my current 71 years I'm more interested in personal safety. I gave the floater a shot and used it on few smaller lakes, wind was a major factor and was best approached by starting into the wind and letting the wind carry me back to launch, thankfully our winds are quite predictable. They are constructed of a heavy reinforced fabric, it still concerns me...but probably its just me. I know all about aluminum canoes and swift running rivers having seen one fold itself around a rock while submerged like a 16oz. Coors aluminum can.
