Searching for model 29-5

Hello all,

This is my first post as a forum member. I am looking to purchase my first revolver and after a couple days of reading and looking around the web i have become dead set on a S&W Model 29-5 (i believe production is '91 and '92). I know this is probably an absurdly specific request but i have absolutely fallen in love with this gun. Preferably a full under-lug; 5"-6" barrel; blued finish; fluted cylinder; and hogue grips. Does anyone know where (or how) i can find one of these beautiful revolvers?

Your best bet is probably starting on GunBroker. I do a lot of business there and have had pretty good results. That being said you may not be able to find exactly what you're looking for without having to wait for a while to have one come up how you want it and a price that you like. The other thing that you can try is a placing a post in the want to buy section of the classifieds here on the forum.

I did a quick look on GunBroker and here is what I found that might be close to what you want. Keep in mind the Magna Classic fetches a premium.

Thnk you very much cornfed i appreciate you looking into it for me. that five inch is pretty much exactly what im lookin for. ill have to post a want to buy in there as well.
