I'm sure "seller's remorse" is something we all have experienced in our personal history of firearm adventures. Seldom do we get a second chance to make it right.
A customer decided that magna size grips were just not to his liking on his N frames. He much preferred the target size and asked if he could return a recent purchase from me for a refund. When I saw which pair he was returning ..... I was HAPPY ..... VERY HAPPY !! ..... I had seriously considered keeping this pair after I had completed them, but I talked myself into letting them go. A few weeks later I unexpectedly acquired another Heavy Duty (6 1/2" pic.). DADGUMMIT !! ...Those grips I almost kept would have been perfect for it :(. After getting the returned pair and swapping them around with the other HD, they have ended up on my 4 ". The 4" is a factory re-blue in a darker higher polish than the usual HD. The returned pair seemed to be a much better match with it. I am SO HAPPY I got a "second chance" with this pair for my HDs :).

I have no idea how someone could return that set!!! Beautiful!!!

Glad that you got them back and fitted them to that HD.

Here's another set of Ken's finest...

... when I want a bit more subdued presentation of this gun...

It's always good to have options---in Richard's case here, from mild to WILD!!

Speaking of WILD, I once had a set of grips for a 1911----sterling silver, gold overlays here and there, clearly designed in Mexico toward the end of a Saturday night binge!

Viewed from across the street, they were attractive. When you got up close and personal, we're back to that Saturday night binge business!

I'm sitting here laughing at the memory of how God awful tacky they were!

Nice looking grips, Ken. They look similar to the ones that I took a gamble on and they ended up on several Models before settling in on the Model 25-2. Bottom left in this image. The others might look familiar to you.
