Secrets of the Bathroom Stall

Do not draw your weapon in public. One Slip of an accidemtal discharge and your in jail. If a kid gets it, your in jail, if it gets stolen, you might become dead, if someone sees you, you will face some trouble.

Wear underwear that allows you to just unzip when using the urinal and not requiring loosening the belt or un buckling.

When using the can I just lower my rig to just below the knees and hold it ere with my hands or outward pressure from my knee so it doesn't go to the floor.

I leave it on my pants, folded to conceal it from the guy in the next stall. I wouldn't place it anywhere in the fear that in my old senile age I may forget it! LOL!

Bellyband is what I carry with all the time. When sitting down, just pull the entire thing up under your pecs, and it stays there. When you're done, push it back down. And there are no issues standing at the urinal, it's not in the way so you just do the work.

As for hanging the gun on the clothes hook, I know of at least 2 accidental discharges that occurred when "professionals" were taking their gun off the hook.

I carry OWB so the gun stays there. If I were to carry IWB, I'd probable set it in the banana hammock.
 
Use your undies

Drop Trau, tuck belt/gun in tight, stretch undies elastic top over gun.
Gun is covered, hidden and held tight.
 
Many years ago I got a call to a Sears Store in the Men's Section. A clerk turned over a 3" S&W in a holster that I recognized as FBI issue. The off duty Spl. Agent forgot it when trying on clothes. I took the gun, thanked the clerk for his honesty and quickly called an FBI buddy. Between the two of us we quietly got the gun back to its owner absent any "official" fuss. That was one very greatful FBI Agent.

While not a bathroom story it's still along the same vein.
 
A couple things to add.

Practice at home. I rarely have to sit down while out. If I do, I want to know that I have a viable procedure. My holster stays put with normal procedures. I just have to make sure it doesn't do something unexpected.

The urinal is not a problem. My weapon stays well hidden during the procedure. I just have to make sure my cover garment doesn't get pulled too far up. It takes a lot more than normal rearranging to expose the weapon. As was mentioned before, I don't have to unbuckle to use the urinal.

Did I mention to practice at home?
 
J-frame, AIWB in a well-fitting holster, stays where it is supposed to. No problems.

I stick it in a jacket pocket for the time being. But I do wear a jacket more than most. I usually have a hoodie or light shell jacket. Than again it usually doesn't get above 70 here. In cases where I'm not wearing a jacket, +1 for fastening the belt and using outward pressure with the knees to hold it up.

I have spent time in a wheel chair, and have always preached about parking in handicap parking spots.

But as far as the bathroom goes, I am not going to hold it, while a stall is empty. We all have to wait in line. IMO the handicap stall is just there so when you get to the front of the line, it is there.

That being said, if you were behind me, I wouldn't use it. But in my entire life, I am not sure if I have ever been in a public bathroom, the same time a person with a wheel chair has been.

I suspect the handicap stalls are used 99.99999% by able bodied people.

By law you have to put in handicap stalls, and I am fine with that. But how many people in wheel chairs do you think they get at the Stihl dealer?

Like I said this is a topic I speak up on, with regards to parking. But I think you guys are giving people a bad name.


I was in the rain once in MT, 11pm at night, motel owner says just park on the handicap spot. Granted what is the chance it is going to be used, but I thought it looked bad.
 
This thread makes me think twice about taking my buddies gun from them. Hmmm, where has your gun been. Lol
 
When I posted about able bodied people using the HP bathroom stall I meant observing them walk past open/available regular stalls to use the one for the HP. I'm only guessing they prefer the extra space in the HP stall, but if they are not infermed they should not use those marked for us.

56 posts on how to take a dump with a gun. Hilarious. If you are worried about someone looking under the partition maybe you should just leave it "In your Pants". I gaurantee they won't ask questions at the sink, I'll even lay you odds they won't even wash their hands. Hahahahaha

BTW, I am a state employee that works for the federal government. I am employed by the state but I work for SSA's Disability Determination Services. I know about HIPPA and the Americans With Disibilities Act and the areas designated for those that need it actually have to get federal permission to use them. Don't park in their spaces and don't use designated areas for them.
We have a local city police department with cars that have camera's and software that can drive through Wal-Marts parking lot and catch violaters simply by the license tag.

My simple belief, to each his own and leave the rest alone.

Simply Rugged won't do hammer straps, on hammer less gun. Dropped y drawers and the gun fell on the floor. Luckily it was my own bathroom.
