Family matters dictated a change of residence, into the state of Connecticut. Can anyone recommend a gunsmith with expertise, particularly on S&W revolvers? In state is preferred, but I am willing to travel around New England if necessary.

Hamilton Bowen has been my choice for S & W revolver work for many years. Often times small jobs can be turned around in short time and at reasonable cost. He just did a black powder chamfer on my 629 cylinder, turned it around in 10 days or so at a very reasonable cost.
Dino- I can recommend three depending on what part of the state you are going to be in.
I have had work done by all three and excellent work.
