Seeking Info on a Victory Model

I just picked a really nice Victory Model...US NAVY serial # V91159. Everything matches! Crane & recess #27099, recess has 08 stamped above the number. Any and all help regarding it's manuf. date, location shipped, etc. would be greatly appreciated!

From the serial number I would guess it was shipped around the middle of 1943 but the real pros can give you a more definitive answer. I could be off on this. I can tell you that having it stamped US Navy ratchets up the value considerably.

V91513 was shipped 9/8/42, so your gun was probably shipped about the same time, as Victories didnt stay on the shelf very long - they got shipped as soon as they were completed. Only a factory historical letter will tell exactly when it was shipped and to what Navy destination. Ed.
