"sesquipedalian", adjective.

Describes big words, as well as speech and text using big words with many syllables. Can also be used to describe people who produce such language, like folks who'd actually use the term "sesquipedalian". ;)

I learned that word in college in a pub that had a "word of the day" up on their reader board, and I stared at it all night on one oaccasion while slowly getting plastered. That's how you learn things for life.

I use ramekins for dishing up ice cream so I limit the quantity. If the dish is bigger I want to dish up more. :) We also use them for dipping sauce when serving artichokes, and other foods too.
