Seldom used or odd words; I'll start

"Dyspeptic" or "dyspepsia".

"Epizootic"

"The vapors".

"Suitor".

"Whizbang".

"Extra", referring to a special edition of a newspaper.

"Linotype" and "typewriter".

"Cotillion" and "debutante".

I use "malgruntled" a lot, but I made that one up too.

Hey zagged, did the debutante get the vapors when you showed as a suitor at her cotillion?
I'll bet her dyspepsia went epizootic thru the ballroom to the extent the whizbang extra edition was delayed by the shorted out linotype.

Gulley Washer-Heavy Downpour

Gulley Washer is a very common term up here in Northern NY where I live. If fact if the weather guesser is correct we will get one tonight. Lots of heavy rain hits the snow pack in this unusual warm weather it will get interesting.

FWIW up where I live is serious Red Neck territory, we have more deer than people here, that lasts till the flat landers come up to their summer camps!:)

Is that anything like a trash mover or a frog strangler?
