Anyone have the list of the vote, not that I don't know where my "representatives" voted.
The bill didn't pass,,
So you can still buy a gun off the internet w/o a background check?
.A bipartisan proposal to expand background checks to gun shows and Internet sales fails in the Senate in a 54-46 vote, in major setback for gun control push.

I know my boy Heller said he would vote against. I would like to see what his highness the Harry voted.
WOW! Harry voted No.
Excuse my ignorance here but I didn't understand the part about background checks for internet sales anyway. I have bought many guns over the internet (GB, here, and other forums), and if they are from out-of-state, they are always shipped to a local FFL dealer, which then requires a BGC to then transfer to me. Why would an additional BGC for internet sales be necessary?? On the few occasions where they were in-state, a private legal, face to face transaction occured with no BGC. Is it those few in-state transactions that the new law would have applied to?
IMO I believe Harry only voted No because he saw the writing on the wall and it was already not going to get the 60 votes. So why not do a CYA for the NRA?
Let us pray that the Boston terrorists bombs are not in any way connnected to a homegrown "guns right fringe group" or we are in for symbolic posturing and oneupsmanship like we've never seen before.
