Senator Feinstein insults nation's veterans

Before the Senate Judiciary Committee last week Senator Diane Feinstein stated her belief that all veterans are mentally ill and the government should deny their access to firearms.

Somehow I managed to complete 2 tours in Vietnam (airborne infantry, combat infantryman badge, purple heart, etc), raise two sons to responsible citizenship (one is a veteran, by the way), serve 24 years as a cop (including nearly 7 years as a chief), run a couple of businesses successfully, pay off all of my bills, and save enough for a comfortable retirement. Now, after having gone to all that trouble, I find out that all this time I've been a mental incompetent!

I want a disability pension, back-dated 41 years, and a check delivered to my house by Senator Pelosi. Maybe while she's here she'll want to pick up my guns and ammunition (maybe I should just give her the ammunition? I'm not sure she is stable enough to have firearms).

Someone tell me if I'm just being too touchy here.

These are the types of quotes and statements that will be brought up and used to the detrement of the Democrats that will try to run for office. Feinstein is at the end, and doesn't give a rats hoohaw about how she leaves her party in shambles.

It's hardly surprising.

Some people you just know what to expect from them.

You expect racial slurs from Klansmen.
You expect defenses of child molestation from NAMBLA members.
You expect calls for beheading "infidels" from rabid Islamists.

Expecting hysterical hatred of legal gun owners from Feinstein is as unreasonable as expecting the sun to rise in the east and set in the west.

Add that fellow from Utah to the list, and a few dozen others we all can think of, but the problem is, we keep wishing for this and it never happens. Maybe at some point all these beautiful people will get so frustrated with their inability to get us to drink from their troughs that they will retire, find life unbearable here in the U.S. that they could not shape in their own sickening imagine, and move to France, or another of our esteemed allies, where their views are more in keeping with the mainstream. We can only hope and pray.

If all military members have mental problems, what about the ones in "harms way" now? do we take their weapons away in say Afgan.. because they might shoot someone? Or all our military bases here in the USA? I don't think so Senator. Wait a second haven't we in our 200+ years had Senators and even Presidents who were in the Military?? (well not lately and maybe that is part of the problem) Viet Nam was not fun for me either (5 week coma from bleeding too much) and coming back to being spit on and call baby killer was worse (in San Francisco where I was released from the Service)
