Didn't seem "blunt " seemed like she was talking to a bunch of children who don't understand why they can't go out and play. Seeing how so many people are acting like exactly that makes me think she wasn't blunt enough.

And this morning they were talking about Calif. where the young people were still going out and playing on the beach. So they are moving the Mercy hospital ship to Calif. On the news this morning says the Republicans and Democrats can't agree on the Stimulus method of distribution. Our Sen and Rep just need to grow up and get some responsibility.

Our mistrust of “elites” has led too many folks to forget that there are actually people who are smarter than they are and know a lot more about certain topics than they do.

Not believing any expert just because he or she is talking about something that’s too complicated for you to understand has become a new widespread form of stupidity.

And believing some crank on the internet who massages numbers impressively to prove the real experts wrong, just because that’s the message you want to hear, is even worse.

So experts like this Dr. Landon, who do know what they are talking about, must be enormously frustrated. I admire their patience in trying to get through to people, when it continues to be obvious that many are not only not listening, but don’t want to.
