Serpa Question.

Hello all. I bought a Blackhawk serpa holster that I carry my m&p 45 midsize in. The Serpa I bought was for an M&P 9/40.
and since I Have the midsize 45 it fits perfectly. I'm noticing alot of wear on the finish on top of the slide. I'm wondering if this is a common occurance, and if there's something I can do to remedy this? Thanks in advance for any info.

You might try moe skin(sp?) Many shooters over the years have glued this in their holsters to make them lined. Good luck

Buy a new holster.

They are different.

A 45 is holster # 410513

BLACKHAWK! SERPA CQC w/Matte Finish - BLACKHAWK!

and the 9/40 is holster # 410525

BLACKHAWK! SERPA CQC w/Matte Finish - BLACKHAWK!

That should slove your problem.

As previously stated, a new holster would be the answer. The Serpa I have for my M&P will accept my Glock's but the fit is not as solid and tight. This may be causing your wear issues.
