Confused!
I became very confused when I heard
the word "service" used with these agencies:

Internal Revenue
'Service'
United States Postal
'Service'
Telephone'Service'
CableTV
'Service'
Civil
'Service'
City, State & Public 'Service'
Customer'Service'

This is not what I thought
'service' meant.

But
today, I overheard two farmers talking, and one of themsaid he had hired a bull to 'service' his cows.
BAM!!! It all came into focus.
Now I understand what all those agencies are doing to us.

Sounds right to me! I just got "serviced" by the USPS the other day. How can they lose a package that had tracking information?

I know its fun to poke at public employees, but I am one on the local (City) level and a large part of what I do is a service. A lot of people don't know what is available for them at the City or County offices. We aren't just there to be a pain in your backside.

I can and have gone years without needing anything from the city or county. Problem is they can't go one day without wanting something from me, and that is my hard earned money.

Ah, yes. The USPS- The Ultra-Slow Procrastination Service. The constant rate increases are to pay for extra storage until they get good and ready to deliver the mail.

JcMack, That's not a joke. You're right on the money. -Ed
