Back in the day I had NRA stickers on my car and house. Not any more. Good way to get vandalism or worse.

As a Consulting Engineer I got hired for a 3 year assignment in Silicon Valley California. It was all based on my resume, plus a phone interview. When I arrived on site the first time I was ready to start my job (setting up a laboratory and hiring PhD chemists to pursue patented work). My first time meeting with the CEO for lunch I was wearing an NRA belt buckle. I found out later that he went along with me, but almost fired me the first day. Fortunately my signed contract guaranteed me at least 3 months with pay.

It's simply not smart. The only gun stickers I ever used on a vehicle were a Browning deer silhouette and a Single Action Shooting Society logo with ALL OF THE WORDS CUT OFF. That left a mean-looking cowboy with a shotgun. Silly at best. Unattractive to anyone. And that was my old truck covered in stickers from a variety of places, etc. Certainly no gun company names.

Probably depends on where you are. I see them here all the time - mostly on pickup trucks.

I say to each his own. I personally do not put stickers on my vehicles, but it isn't over security concerns. I just don't like the way they look after a couple of years. The ones on windows are especially egregious since they block part of your view out.
