I'm in the process... Looking for tips on making the sales process go smoothly. Thinking only cashier's checks or USPS MO. After winning bid contact process? Have my FFL. What is approx USPS charge for shipping "average" handgun? Insurance of course? Geez, so many options. Just need to get 1 or 2 sales done and I'll bet it'll go easier. Just want to have all my T's crossed. Thanks in advance!

I suppose most would want a cashier's check or a USPS mo, but I never had a problem with personal checks.(I waited until my bank would clear them, which only took a day or two)
Absolutely on the insurance. All of my sales went through my LGS, who uses UPS for shipping.
I'd say that the UPS average for a handgun-two day service, was about $45....and of course, handguns always went a far distance where the two day cost would be the greatest.

USPS is cheaper to ship a handgun if you are a FFL.

My FFL just shipped one for me yesterday and it was $18 priority plus his fee to ship for me.
