FYI on the St. Louis shooting [subject of thread]...it appears that some of the story is unraveling.

Facts be damned, similar to the video of the guy with the passenger side window getting smashed by cops in Indiana and then getting tazed which looks like for no reason. Only Fox news so far has run the full video of the cops, very politely, repeatedly asking the guy to get out of the car. Refusal after refusal, the guy even asked for a Sergeant (good clue he's been in before when they ask for one). The media doesn't want the facts, they want a war as much as some of these people who claim to represent these minority groups do, then they will sit back on the sidelines while it all goes up. They fail to realize they will be engulfed in it too. There were a couple of times in Ferguson when the protesters started in on the news crews where the reporters were shocked when they started getting rocks thrown at them. They fail to realize that when the storm starts nothing is going to be off limits.

Once on the news there was a fire right on Tom Sellecks property. A news reporter and camera man were there filming Selleck shoveling. He looked up and said, "If you want to help, throw down that camera and grab a shovel!"

I meant the women on fox news are all fox`s. Not faux. I trust fox news and about have the tuner welded to it. I never thought or caught deliberate lies reported, give a example?
I will say I turn it off when they get a "panel" together and I know they are told to spice it up by arguing and shouting each other down like kindergarten kids. Outside of that I trust and watch them.
Sometimes I get irked by their usual panel of "consultants" that are suppose to give their input. I dont consider them any smarter or better informed than me usually. I would work a lot cheaper.

At age 9 or 10 he was ordained a minister in the Pentecostal church. I could not find any indication of ordination after that.

Shame that church didnt change him from later becoming one who attempted to deliver a large amount of Heroin. He was busted--then in order to not see jail time--sold out all of his associates to the FBI or some agency like the. He was heavier-set in those days-big mustache, and was also on video and audio-caught trying to make a drug deal.

Wolf blitzer hasnt reported news since he was caught in baghdad (Gulf War Nr1)-when the bombings first started. Since then-its been all fictional reporting.

So what lies have they on Fox News fabricated? Id like some true examples please. The only one on Fox that ive seen make a mockery of anything--was Geraldo Rivera--when he faked being under enemy fire--dueing the last Gulf War.

CNN ran this byline all day today:

"Black teenager fatally shot in head by police."

Of course, nothing in that byline says anything about the cop being shot at 3 times and firing in self defense. Shame on CNN for running a headline that it darn well knows could incite a riot. But I guess that's one way to get some sensational burning and looting footage.

'Cmon Sip,........ those minor details do not seem to matter anymore. That, and it doesn't sell papers or raise ratings. Sadly, folks are under the impression Policemen are supposed to dance with knife wielding bad guys or take a round in the vest before firing their weapons. Sad.

Side question that I know is OT: Just how in heck does the tv rating people know what I am watching? I can understand it if I get a phone call from them asking, but tell me how can anyone possibly know what station I have on?

That's part of hat cable and satellite receivers do., keep track of you.

There are dozens of sites on the interwebtubes that do nothing BUT point out - and prove - Fox News "inaccuracies".

Google is your friend. You won't like it but it has been proven over and over.

FYI, I don't like or trust ANY of the cable news networks. They all pander to their target niche audiences, enhancing the echo chamber of confirmation bias.

If you have a cable box...they know exactly what you watch and when, and 96% of homes in the nation are cable.

The other way they check is through Nielsen surveys, where they sample a large number of households and then extrapolate that number. They have been doing it for 50 years and have it down to a very concise science.

No, what they do is send out a form that you fill out with :15 time parts with every station you tuned to even for only 1 min.
They have you fill it out and send it in after one week.
They give you $5.00 for that.
Same thing with radio, only they gave me $3.00 twice.
The Nielsen people I just sent back the $5 with "No Thanks".
