I'm following a thread about tribal laws and native Americans. It was stated that Indiana Reservations were a "world to themselves" and different tribes have different tribal laws. It was also stated that tribal laws weren't enforceable for those not native Americans. With some communities having very large Muslim populations in the U.S., I was thinking that at some future time Sharia laws might be passed by local jurisdictions. Following the Indian Reservation examples, those laws might not be enforced against Infidels, but might be enforceable for Muslims living and working in those municipalities.

There is a lot of "Mights" in that paragraph. Also in MT Tribal law is applicable to non tribal members. There is a lot of stuff yet to work out before Sharia becomes a law of a community and if it did Federal Law would over ride it IMO when it came to individual rights.
