Shield 2.0?

Anybody out there hear anything about a new Shield version coming up?

No. But I'm guessing maybe the current $75 rebate is part of an effort to clear out inventory before the "new" model is introduced.

The trigger-break on the Performance Center Shield, and the 2.0 feel the same. The take-up on the 2.0 is quite long, but smooth. But to your question, I've not heard about a new Shield model.

There is not one. Talked to the Smith & Wesson spokesman yesterday at a clinic and there is no plan for an M&P Shield 2.0.
