Shield 40 Bullet Casing Marks

Hello fellow smith owners, proud owner of a Shield 40, and put about 300-400 rounds through with no problems...
However I've noticed that my bullet casings are having score marks by the edges. Should I be worried about this? Ejector issue? Any comments would be appreciated....no malfunctions at all...Federal and Winchester factory ammo used...

My Shield 40 leaves two diagonal gashes in the rim of spent cases. It still feeds and fires reliably. I believe it is from the magazine.
