Anyone know of a company that makes a good holster for a shield 45 acp pro series with the 4in barrel? Just picked a used one up for a good price but cant find many holsters available for it.

Upper Hand holsters make them in Kydex. 1836 has one in leather. I carry my PC Shield OR ported 4" .45 in an 1836. The camo holster is an example of the Upper Hand holsters. I believe Urban Carry also makes one of their Lock Leather holsters for your gun as well. These all run in the $69 range.

Cool thank you for the info. I just ordered an upper hand. Looks like a really nice holster and patterns at no extra cost. Will update with a review when it gets here.

If youdecide you want a IWB holster a Hybrib IWB - Leather back side for a 4" compact 9mm or 40sw it will work well for the 4" shield 45 . At least the compact MTAC I used will . Alo works well for my thinner1911 commander in a M&P 4.25 full size mtac !

Groo here
I just got a Vedder paddle and mag pouch [paddle]
for my 4in 45acp shield pc after 5 min I didn't feel it.
Quick on and off, and tight to belt.

Well, this thread has inspired this fool to part with some more of his money. I had looked high and low for holsters for the 4" PC .45 Shield and had no success. Apparently a market for them has arisen?

I've seen some good options here. Leading candidate for OWB is the Upper Hand mentioned above. I've also come across some IWB holsters, most likely options for those at this point are a kydex model from Crossbreed and the Vedder Light Tuck. I used the Vedder for a while with my 9mm Shield and gave it up for a Tulster Profile.

At any rate my gun should be at the shop tomorrow, if so I'll pick it up then or on Saturday. I'd still have a lot more of my hard earned money if I could just stay away from gun forums.
